Name: Intermediate Hand Made Violin [HDA-1]
Materials: One-piece highly-flamed maple back, naturally-aged spruce front (15+ years), quality ebony fittings.
Description: This is one of the best intermediate violins for the aspiring student, or adult learner with astute hearing. Its tone is strong and powerful, and even throughout all four strings. Its one-piece back is gorgeous, and there are interesting grain patterns on the front. Overall, a very easy violin to play and will give many years of pleasure for the violinist.
History and Opinion: This violin is an exhibition piece, for a famous luthier in Beijing. We were very blessed to have visited the workshop at a good time, when the exhibition had just ended, and there were many pieces of exhibition stock available for us to choose. This violin is highly recommended for the aspiring student mastering ABRSM Grades 3-8.
Set: This violin comes in a solid black oblong case with quality brazilwood bow, rosin and shoulder rest.
