Intermediate Hand-Made Violin [HDA-4]

Name: Intermediate Hand-Made Violin [HDA-4]

Materials: Two-piece highly-flamed maple back, naturally-aged spruce front (15+ years). It has quality ebony fittings, and a fine-tuned on the E String.

Description: This is a great-sounding violin, even across all strings. Suitable for the aspiring students rising through the grades, or the adult learner with a discerning ear. Recommended for ABRSM Grade 3 and above. Lovely grain patterns on its spruce front, and orange varnish.

History and Opinion: This is an exhibition piece from the workshop of a famous luthier in Beijing. We were blessed to have arrived there just when the exhibition ended, and had the pick of the instruments. Excellent choice for students on a budget, and looking to upgrade their instruments.

Set: This violin comes in a solid black oblong case, with quality brazilwood bow, rosin and shoulder rest.

Price: $600
